We believe that creativity deserves recognition and appreciation. That’s why each month we reward three designers for their efforts to provide high quality resources, prepared to be used by thousands of other creative individuals from all over the world.
Current Prize Pool (November): US $172.00
- 1st prize: 50% – for the author of most downloaded file during that month
- 2nd prize: 30% – for the author of second most downloaded file during that month
- 3rd prize: 20% – for a randomly selected person who has successfully submitted a file to PSD Planet before the end of that month
Details
We set up a monthly Prize Pool with a minimum of one hundred US dollars. Our visitors and sponsors can contribute to the Prize Pool, so it can grow to substantial amounts. After each month is over, we divide the Prize Pool between the authors of most popular files that month. The winner gets 50% of the prize, the runner-up receives 30%, and the remaining 20% goes to a randomly selected contributor. That’s right, anyone who successfully submits a resource to PSD Planet has a chance to grab a slice of this yummy cake! We think it’s more fair, and more fun at the same time.
There are some additional rules, which you should know about. One file can only win once. It means that if you win a prize for your file, this particular file won’t take part in next month’s contest. You are welcome to submit multiple files and enhance your chance of winning.
An author can also only be a winner of either 1st or 2nd prize. If you happen to have two (or more) files that are most popular during given month, you will be awarded with the first prize, but second prize will go towards the author of next most popular file after your own.
Any author can win the 3rd prize for any file and also multiple times. In other words, once your file is accepted to our collection, you will have a chance of winning every month.
If you are ready, you can submit your file and wait for us to get back to you. It can take up to 48 hours for a file to be reviewed, but in most cases it will be a lot quicker than that.
Note: any person associated with PSD Planet is automatically excluded from participating in the contest, but is still allowed to submit PSD resources to the site. All prizes will be paid out using PayPal.
